Tech Camps: 21st-Century Woodworking

Organization: At New England Tech, we understand that each student may have unique learning styles. 

Opportunity: Students will learn how technology is used in woodworking. This includes exploring how computers assist woodworkers in designing pieces and constructing projects. In this camp, we will create and build a small piece of furniture using a CNC machine, which students will take home.

FREE day camps are open to students entering grades 9 through 12. In addition to enjoying fun summer days with their peers, campers will acquire foundational skills that they can use throughout high school and beyond. Led by New England Tech’s industry-leading faculty, each day camp runs from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm at NEIT’s campus.

Note: Priority registration for summer camp will be extended to students from schools in Pawtucket, Providence, Central Falls, and Woonsocket before opening to the broader community.

The deadline to register for the lottery is May 1, 2025.
