Save the Bay: Internship

Organization: Our mission is to protect and improve Narragansett Bay. Our vision is a fully swimmable, fishable, healthy Narragansett Bay, accessible to all. Save The Bay is an independent, member-supported, nonprofit organization. We got our start as a grassroots organization in 1970, when a small group of concerned citizens came together to fight an oil refinery proposed for the shores of Tiverton. Their work began our legacy as the eyes, ears and voice for Narragansett Bay. Today we carry out our mission through three areas of work: advocacy, education, and habitat restoration and adaptation.

Opportunity: Save The Bay Internships are offered in a variety of fields, including communications, habitat restoration, education, and animal husbandry. Internships are offered on a semesterly basis (fall, spring, summer). The application typically opens 2-3 months in advance of the semester. Anyone, regardless of student status or age, may apply for the internship, so long as they can meet the time commitment.

Be ready with a first and second choice internship - you will be asked to select two options

Upload your cover letter and resume as PDFs in the google form. Graphic Design & Communications and Photography/Videography applicants must also include a work sample.
